The bridge connecting the U.S. and Canada at Niagara Falls, N.Y., was closed Wednesday after a automobile explosion, a number of legislation enforcement companies introduced.
“The FBI Buffalo Discipline Workplace is investigating a automobile explosion on the Rainbow Bridge, a border crossing between the U.S. and Canada in Niagara Falls,” the FBI said in a statement. “The FBI is coordinating with our native, state and federal legislation enforcement companions on this investigation. As this case could be very fluid, that’s all we are able to say right now.”

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) mentioned state assets are on the border crossing.
“I’ve been briefed on the incident on the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls and we’re carefully monitoring the scenario,” she said on X. “State companies are on web site and able to help.”
It’s unknown if anybody was injured within the explosion or how lengthy the crossing will stay closed.
